A Friend

I was lost in the darkness profound

Scared to my bones in this cold dry world

I had lost my faith and my belief in love

When I found your hand to hold.


You came like break of dawn after an endless night

Lightening the darkest corners of my life

I embraced the world I had long forgotten

With resurgence of hope in my eyes.


Oh how much could I tell you

You are a bundle of joy

To me, a gift from divine

You protected me like a mountain 

Against my storms

And held me safe in the haven of your arms


Reignited the my faith in humanity

Bringing me back to sanity

I want to love your good heart

For you are my best friend,

My Angel Divine !

Paradise

          **All the characters and events in this story are completely fictional** The bizarre set of events that started happening as soon as I landed in the magic island of Hawaii still sends my brain reeling into a perplexed contusion. I planned a trip to surf the beaches of Hawaii, on island of Oahu, for my birthday. The trip started with my friends riling me up to fetch that fairy tale romance I dream of. Don't tell them that I stuffed my luggage with 3 books, and I plan to do some intense reading.   I was waiting by baggage carousel after my flight landed to collect my suitcase.
